I, MICHAEL J. McCARTY, hereby retract the statements complained of in Santa Clara Superior Court Case No. CV 772062. At no time have I ever had any business dealings with JOHN HIGDON - other than the small claims suit filed by me against JOHN HIGDON, which was dismissed as frivolous, and the suit filed by JOHN HIGDON against me, Santa Clara Superior Court Case No. CV 772062, to which I accept liability. I admit that I have no knowledge of the personal life, business background, or business practices of JOHN HIGDON. I published the statements complained of with no personal knowledge of the subject matter contained therein and in reckless disregard of their truth or falsity.
